I was working with some excellent clinicians and educators who made it clear how exciting and dynamic cardiology is.  I found working with cardiac patients to be incredibly rewarding as well. In cardiology fellowship, my passion for technology led me down the path of cardiac imaging, as this is an area that is going to continue to evolve with advances in computing. I was incredibly fortunate to work with some great minds in cardiac imaging at the University of Chicago during my fellowship, and I&#8217;m thrilled to join such an advanced and forward-thinking group here at UNMC.<\/p>\n<p><b>Degrees:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.S., University of Nebraska-Lincoln\n<li>M.D., UNMC\n<li>Fellowship, cardiology, University of Chicago Medicine<\/ul>\n<p><b>Memberships:<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>American College of Cardiology\n<li>American Society of Echocardiography\n<li>Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance<\/ul>\n<p><b>Three things people may not know about me:<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am a musician and have several albums on Spotify, iTunes, etc.\n<li>I&#8217;m a huge sci-fi and fantasy nerd (J.R.R. Tolkien is my hero).\n<li>I grew up on a farm near Coleridge, Neb.  My dad still farms corn and soybeans there.\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Clinic location and hours:<\/b><br \/>\nMonday and Friday mornings at the Durham Outpatient
