Gold, M.D., as chancellor of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dr. Gold, chancellor of UNMC, has led UNO on an interim basis since 2017. <\/p>\n<p>The regents will meet at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. The 11 a.m. meeting is open to the public and will be audio-streamed live <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraska.edu\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>President Hank Bounds, Ph.D., <a href=\"https:\/\/nebraska.edu\/news-and-events\/news\/2018\/jeffrey-p-gold-md-named-priority-candidate-for-uno-chancellor\">named Dr. Gold<\/a> as the priority candidate for chancellor on Nov. 5. As required by state law, Dr. Gold&#8217;s selection has undergone a 30-day public vetting period that included open forums at UNO and feedback opportunities for stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>If approved by the board, Dr. Gold would serve as UNO chancellor until June 30, 2022. He also will continue to serve as UNMC chancellor.<\/p>\n<p>A detailed agenda is available <a
