Peter Pellerito of the UNMC Center for Healthy Living will discuss the seven simple measures you can do to improve your overall health at the next Olson Center Brown Bag Lecture from noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.<\/p>\n

Called “Life’s Simple 7,” the measures were created by the American Heart Association. Pellerito will outline these measures and discuss small achievable steps you can take to improve your health and wellbeing with special attention on the prevention of heart disease.<\/p>\n

Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at (402) 559-6345. Bring your lunch, and refreshments will be provided.<\/p>\n

The lectures are free. However, the cost to obtain nursing credit is $10. Payment instructions will be given at pre-registration.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/b> The UNMC College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
