The health fair served approximately 50 members of the South Omaha community at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School.<\/p>\n<p>Stations included SHARING information, blood pressure screening, glucose testing and flu vaccines, among other screening and educations stations.<\/p>\n<p>This event demonstrated collaboration from many on-campus groups. The American Pharmacists Association of Student Pharmacists ran the blood pressure screening, glucose testing, flu vaccines and cancer screening stations. Reproductive Health Advocates ran the women&#8217;s health station. The Psychiatry Interest Group ran the mental health station. <\/p>\n<p>Sean Feehan, second-year physical therapy student and SHARING outreach coordinator, was the main organizer for the health fair. He mentioned the inspiration he received from seeing so many volunteers come out on a busy weeknight. He also nodded to the event genuinely reaching the community by garnering true interest. For example, many attendees asked questions such as how to set up appointments.<\/p>\n<p>With the success of this year&#8217;s health fair, efforts will be made for earlier recruitment for next year
