Volunteers are needed for the 2019 We Are UNMC BBQ, which will be held on Aug. 28.<\/p>\n

People are needed for event set-up and cleanup, food, beverage and game stations, running the photo booth and other activities. Volunteers are needed for various hours between 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Faculty, staff and students are all welcome to attend the all-campus BBQ from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza. Enjoy free food (while supplies last), giveaways (while supplies last), music and backyard games.<\/p>\n

There also will be several activities centered on campus inclusivity and diversity. All are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.<\/p>\n

This event is hosted by the UNMC Student Senate, the Recruitment and Student Engagement Office, and the UNMC Department of Human Resources, sponsored in part by Metro Credit Union, in collaboration with the UNMC Department of Public Relations, the Environmental Health and Safety Department, the Center for Healthy Living and the UNMC Bookstore.<\/p>\n
