Annual NUFlex benefits enrollment for the University of Nebraska faculty and staff runs through 5 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 15.<\/p>\n

During this period, benefits-eligible employees are able to make changes to their tobacco designation, enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts and complete the Health Risk Assessment. Employees also have the ability to review their current benefit elections and make changes for 2020.<\/p>\n

Since changes are not allowed throughout the year (with the exception of a few Internal Revenue Service-approved life events), it is imperative that all employees log into Firefly<\/a> and then go into Employee Self Service (ESS), review and\/or make desired changes\/additions to their current benefits and then very carefully review their confirmation statement. The UNMC Department of Human Resources suggests everyone either print or save a copy for their records.<\/p>\n
