Looking for something fun to do this holiday season? Check out some of the festive events hosted by a few of UNMC’s community partners.<\/p>\n

The Durham Museum and Joslyn Art Museum provide free museum admission for UNMC employees, students and their immediate family with a valid identification badge. As always, there will be several holiday events geared to the entire family.<\/p>\n

At The Durham Museum, enjoy loads of entertainment and celebrate Christmas at Union Station. Visit Santa, enjoy holiday music under the glow of The Durham’s Christmas tree and celebrate Noon Year’s Eve with the family.<\/p>\n

At the Joslyn, enjoy a holiday concert series every Wednesday and Friday at noon from Dec. 6-20. On Dec. 15, attend the Teen Salon. This unique event in the Witherspoon Concert Hall will feature original music, fashion and animations produced by teens in the Kent Bellows Mentoring Program and provides a special opportunity for students to showcase their work and performances to a live audience and help build their confidence and professional experience. <\/p>\n

The Omaha Symphony is offering a discount to members of the UNMC community to its 2019-2020 season, which includes “Physicians Mutual Omaha Symphony Christmas Celebration.” The promotional code “UNMC” offers a 20 percent discount to the shows.<\/p>\n

In addition to these events, be sure to check out the holiday happenings at the Omaha Community Playhouse, Rose Theater, Lauritzen Gardens and Fontenelle Forest.<\/p>\n
