A Holistic Approach to Caring for Survivors After Sexual Assault.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sexual assault is a traumatic experience, and it may be difficult for the survivor to seek care. Buehler will outline how often it occurs in Nebraska and the United States and what patients can expect when they seek care. She also will outline the nurse&#8217;s role in the examination and medical treatment plan.<\/p>\n<p>Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402.559.6345 or register on <a href=\"https:\/\/unmc.campuslabs.com\/engage\/event\/5635594\">Engage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Participants may bring lunch, and simple refreshments will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>The lectures are free. To obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10.
