We both grew up in Nebraska and went to the same high school (Millard South). Both of our families live in Omaha.&nbsp;I have three brothers and two sisters.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>I played college football at Morningside College and for the Omaha Beef for two&nbsp;seasons.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>I like spending time with my family, traveling, lifting weights&nbsp;and playing pick-up basketball.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<u>David Nordin, MD<\/u><br \/>\nInstructor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery<br \/>\n<strong>Hometown:&nbsp;<\/strong>South Haven, MI<br \/>\n<strong>Research\/professional interests:&nbsp;<\/strong>Primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, including direct anterior hip arthroplasty<br \/>\n<strong>How I fell in love with orthopaedic surgery<\/strong>: I grew up in a family of engineers and always loved putting things back&nbsp;together.
