The ability of nutrition to assist in the prevention, treatment and palliation of illness always astounds me. I hope to share this love of the field with students and continue research to push our profession forward. <\/p>\n<p><b>Degrees:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MS, medical sciences interdepartmental area, UNMC\n<li>RD, Mayo School of Health Sciences, Rochester, Minnesota<\/ul>\n<p><b>Memberships:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics\n<li>Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics\n<li>American Society of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition<\/ul>\n<p><b>Three things people may not know about me:<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m nearing completion of the Medical Sciences Interdepartmental Area PhD program with a prospective graduation date of May 2021.\n<li>I have a seven-foot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gardenista.com\/posts\/10-things-nobody-tells-fiddle-leaf-fig-trees-houseplant-growing-care-guide\/\">fiddle-leaf fig<\/a> named Fergie.
