Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Name &amp; Year:<\/strong> Chandni Ravi, MBBS<br \/>\n<strong>Year<\/strong>: Critical Care Anesthesiology Fellow (Year 1 of 2)<br \/>\n<strong>Residency:<\/strong> Rutgers University (Emergency Medicine)<br \/>\n<strong>Hometown:<\/strong> Chennai, India<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>I am pursuing critical care anesthesiology because:<\/strong>&nbsp; I wished to refine my future in Emergency Medicine with a special interest in managing critically ill patients beyond initial presentation. I find my interactions with patients and their families more rewarding in the ICU where more time is available. Critical care also allows me to further my involvement in research and education. I hope to eventually split my time 50\/50 in the ED and the ICU.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>In my time here, I have most enjoyed:<\/strong> Taking care of patients with the most complex, high-acuity illnesses and working with the friendliest people that you can learn something from every day.&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Three things you may not know about me are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am a compulsive task planner and list maker. Sometimes I have lists of sub-categories of lists I need to work on. You get the picture. I really enjoy staying organized to stay on top of things a little too much.<\/li>\n<li>I am artistic by nature. I love to paint, knit, bake and be crafty. I have been cooking since I was 7 or 8. I&#39;d like to think that if not in medicine, I would be doing something artsy and quirky.<\/li>\n<li>Travel has dominated my life and made me adaptable. We moved a lot growing up&mdash;I graduated high school from my 14th school. I am very fortunate in having a family that loves to travel and have been to around 20 countries and 31 states in the US.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"\/secure-location.php\"
