Gold, MD.\u00a0<span style=\"color: black;\">The forum will be online only.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black;\">Attendees may view the forum from 3 to 4 p.m. via<\/span>\u00a0<a style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: blue; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/unmc101\/forums\/index.html\">Zoom<\/a>.\u00a0<span style=\"color: black;\">There will not be an option to attend in person this month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gold will be joined by Jane Meza, PhD, interim executive director for health security for UNMC and the University of Nebraska at Omaha,\u00a0and Mark Rupp, MD, medical director of infection control and epidemiology at Nebraska Medicine and chief of the UNMC Division of Infectious Diseases.\u00a0They will discuss a variety of campus issues for the fall semester, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>the potential impact of the Delta variant on campus;<\/li>\n<li>guidance on masking, vaccine documentation and other campus safety measures; and<\/li>\n<li>other topics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.<\/p>\n<p>To ask a question in advance of the forum, email the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #575757;\"><a style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: blue; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"mailto:john@doe.com\"><span style=\"color: #ad122a;\">UNMC strategic communications team.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jane Meza, PhD, interim executive director for health security, and Mark Rupp, MD, chief of the UNMC Division of Infectious Diseases, will join Chancellor Jeffrey P.
