It also provides guidelines for writing for the web, along with best practices for accessibility, search engine optimization and readability, among other topics.<\/p>\n<p>The web style guide is a critical aspect of maintaining a consistent and dynamic style across all UNMC web pages, said Stacie Hamel, director of projects and digital strategy&nbsp;in the UNMC Department of Strategic Communications. Web content developers will be assigned to online training modules before they are given access to the new design in the content management system, following th<span style=\"color:black\">e <a href=\"https:\/\/univnebrmedcntr.sharepoint.com\/:x:\/s\/unmc.eduredesign\/ET4gta74TBxDo6adfcVCRW4Bsb3cfPkupbuANVxs3eKZaw?e=3hdhKR\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\">site migration schedule<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\">A<\/span>mong the modules will be a web style guide review and agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The style guide is available to view on the <span style=\"color:black\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brandwise.unmc.edu\/unmc\/web-style-guide\/\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\">UNMC brand site<\/a><\/span>. All updates to the guide will be made there.<\/p>\n<p>Updates regarding the unmc.edu redesign project may be found on<span style=\"color:black\"> <a
