A waiver request is no longer required to accompany an international visitor registration.<\/p>\n<p><b>All long-term (seven days or longer) international visitors must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination before arriving in the United States. There are no exceptions to this requirement per UNMC policy.&nbsp;<\/b>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The international visitor policy is subject to change based on UNMC, Nebraska Medicine, state&nbsp;or federal restrictions due to COVID-19 or other reasons. International visitors for clinical observation or clinical visitation continue to be on hold until further notice.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of the resumption of allowing international visitors on campus&nbsp;and to enhance services to international visitors and departments, the Office of Global Engagement will now utilize <a href=\"https:\/\/iglobal.nebraska.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">iGlobal<\/span><\/a>, the University of Nebraska international participant management system, for the international visitor registration process. Department administrators will utilize a two-step process to register the international visitor. In addition, the department chair or director will be required to approve the international visitor before the Office of Global Engagement will process the visitor.<\/p>\n<p>Department administrators will need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/global\/_documents\/gaining-access-to-iglobal.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">request access<\/span><\/a> to the system before beginning an international visitor registration. Once access is granted, administrators can follow this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/global\/_documents\/ivr-process.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">step-by-step guide<\/span><\/a> to submit the registration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Office of Global Engagement will offer a series of trainings on the new iGlobal system.
