I&#39;ve been at UNMC for nine years total, including med school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\"><b>What do you like the most about your training program? <\/b>Spending time with my co-chiefs who have gone through the same training experiences as me. They have been a significant source of support, especially in the last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\"><b>What challenges do you foresee in graduate medical education in the future?<\/b> I think having adequate exposure to the breadth of surgical experiences while also having the repetition needed to feel comfortable in a given area will continue to be a challenge given finite amount of time in training.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color:black\">List some accomplishments that you are proud of:&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color:black\">Finishing general surgery residency.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black\">Passing the French DALF, a national oral and written exam.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span style=\"color:black\">Tell us three things about you that others may not know:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I taught English at a high school in Besan<span style=\"color:#111111\">&ccedil;<\/span>on, France, before starting med school.<\/li>\n<li>My favorite sport is horseback riding, and I did hunter\/jumpers through high school.<\/li>\n<li>If I hadn&rsquo;t gone to med school, I would have
