{"id":77932,"date":"2022-06-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2022\/06\/02\/new-weekday-hours-for-pharmacy-at-durham-outpatient-center\/"},"modified":"2022-06-02T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-06-02T05:00:00","slug":"new-weekday-hours-for-pharmacy-at-durham-outpatient-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2022\/06\/02\/new-weekday-hours-for-pharmacy-at-durham-outpatient-center\/","title":{"rendered":"New weekday hours for Pharmacy at Durham Outpatient Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>The retail Pharmacy at the Durham Outpatient Center will have new hours beginning June 13.<\/p>\n<p>As of that date, the Pharmacy at Durham Outpatient Center will be open as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Weekends and holidays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (no changes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Allison Beachler, PharmD, manager of retail pharmacy, said the adjustment will allow Nebraska Medicine to better serve patients at the times that are the busiest.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We believe this will make the experience even better for patients who come into the Durham Outpatient Center for their medications,&quot; she said. &quot;The new hours will allow us to schedule as many pharmacy team members as possible during peak times, when we are the busiest filling prescriptions and serving patients.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>There are no changes to hours at the other Nebraska Medicine Pharmacy locations.<\/p>\n<p>Additional services will make it easier to refill and receive prescriptions, in some cases without even leaving home or picking up the phone.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:disc\">\n<li><b>Auto-refill and text messaging: <\/b>Prescriptions can be refilled before they run out. Receive a notification when it&rsquo;s ready to pick up or have it mailed directly to the home. Colleagues who are interested in auto-refill or text messaging services should enroll using this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=QImihGS0w0G6O7T6ZmW8Ba6mlpMXoXhBqDYnVWRW_AFUNTFNWDA2TkZMQkZJNUVUUDhLNElWUVFMQi4u\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\">Colleague Pharmacy Services form<\/a>. Non-employee patients are informed about auto-refill whenever they call, or come to, one of Nebraska Medicine&#39;s pharmacy locations.<\/li>\n<li><b>90-day supply:<\/b>&nbsp;Filling medication with a 90-day supply is convenient and cost effective. With Nebraska Medicine insurance coverage, a 90-day supply of medications can be filled at Nebraska Medicine Pharmacies for the price of a 60-day supply.<\/li>\n<li><b>Mail delivery:<\/b>&nbsp;Nebraska Medicine offers convenient, free shipping on prescriptions filled at its&nbsp;pharmacy locations.
