After much preparation and teamwork, ServiceNow is making its official debut.<\/p>\n<table align=\"right\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"10\" style=\"width:700px\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"picture disc.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/IT061522.jpg\" style=\"float:right\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><b>What&rsquo;s new:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:disc\">\n<li>A one-stop shop for information about IT services.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>An announcements section for updates on issues that might be widespread.<\/li>\n<li>A search bar that will connect people directly with the resources they need.<\/li>\n<li>New self-resolution articles, which will provide instant solutions for the most common issues that come in to IT.<\/li>\n<li>Simplified request forms that are easier to find.<\/li>\n<li>Clearer view into the status of an employee&#39;s&nbsp;tickets and when the issues are&nbsp;expected to be resolved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What stays the same (for now):<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The &quot;Request Something&quot; option will continue to route to the current process for the time being.<\/li>\n<li>Additional features and expansion, including the improved &quot;Request Something&quot; functionality, will continue through the rest of 2022 and into 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Options for accessing the portal<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:48px\">1. <a href=\"https:\/\/appstore.UNMC.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UNMC<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/appstore.nebraskamed.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nebraska Medicine<\/a> app store. Navigate to &quot;Websites&quot; or &quot;All Apps&quot; and look for ServiceNow &#8211; Prod. Alternatively, type &quot;ServiceNow&quot; into the search bar to bring up the portal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:48px\">2.
