I completed my PhD in pediatric dentistry and also served as an adjunct assistant professor for several years at the Kyung Hee University&nbsp;School of Dentistry. Then I relocated to the United States to further my dental education at the University of Florida. After completing an advanced placement pediatric dental residency, I became board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2021.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\"><b>How I fell in love with dentistry:<\/b>&nbsp;When I was a child, I went to the dental clinic regularly for my crooked teeth. These experiences made me see the dental clinic as a fantasy world where dentists magically arranged my teeth and treated frightened, crying children with kindness. These good memories made me fall in love with dentistry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The accomplishment&nbsp;I am most proud of:<\/b>&nbsp;The fulfillment of my&nbsp;childhood dream. I wanted to study in the United States and work as a pediatric dentist.<\/p>\n<p><b>Hometown:<\/b>&nbsp;I spent my childhood in Chuncheon, South Korea. Chuncheon is a city very similar to Omaha with good people and weather with four distinct seasons.<\/p>\n<p><b>My family:<\/b>&nbsp;My family includes my husband and two daughters. My husband works as a dentist in South Korea&nbsp;and my two daughters live with me in Omaha.<\/p>\n<p><b>My favorite things to do on a day off:&nbsp;<\/b>I like to eat delicious food and visit famous places.<\/p>\n<p><b>Three things people may not know about me:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My two daughters refused to eat baby food because I wasn&rsquo;t good at cooking.<\/li>\n<li>I like sports, except for sports involving balls.<\/li>\n<li>I prefer planning and moving ahead rather than improvising events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What I&#39;m most looking forward to about working at the college:<\/b>
