\u201cRural Health Matters,\u201d the medical\/health talk show on RFD-TV featuring UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, will continue its string of high-profile guests in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, Sept. 19, Dr. Gold will host Anthony Fauci, MD, who recently announced his decision to step down in December from his roles as chief medical advisor to the president, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation for several decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Gold, with RFD-TV\u2019s Nashville-based host Christina Loren, will speak with Dr. Fauci about the state of the pandemic, promising research on potential one-dose nasal vaccines and more. Drs. Fauci and Gold also will take viewer questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
