Enrollment begins at 8 a.m. CST, Monday, Oct. 31<sup>st<\/sup>, and runs through Friday, Nov. 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 5 p.m. CST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To prepare, here are some things employees can do ahead of time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log into Firefly<ul><li>By logging into Firefly now, employees ensure that their password is current.<\/li><li>If anyone has trouble logging in:<ul><li>Here is the <a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/management\/finance\/UNMC-how_to_change_your_firefly_password.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">step-by-step guide for changing the password<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/management\/finance\/UNMC-how_to_change_your_firefly_password.pdf\">.<\/a><\/li><li>Contact the Firefly Helpdesk at 402-559-BUZZ (2899) or by <a href=\"mailto:unmcfirefly@unmc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">email<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Adding a new dependent?<ul><li>Gather dependent verification documents now. <a href=\"https:\/\/nebraska.edu\/-\/media\/projects\/unca\/faculty-staff\/health-benefits\/dependentverificationrequirements.pdf?la=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here is a link for those documents<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Considering using the Employee Plus One plans?<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraska.edu\/faculty-and-staff\/health-benefits\/employee-plus-one\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Review this information prior to enrollment<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Had a life change event in the past 12 months?<ul><li>Review life insurance beneficiary designation by logging into Firefly, clicking on &#8220;Employee Self Service&#8221; and then clicking on the &#8220;Life Insurance Beneficiaries&#8221; tile.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With questions or concerns pertaining to benefits enrollment, please contact the Benefits Office to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
