The webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health Brown Bag lecture series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Dowdall is a board-certified surgeon and associate professor in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at UNMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More women than men suffer from chronic cough. Dr. Dowdall will discuss the common causes of cough, what can be done about it and why chronic cough is different in women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a free event and open to the community. Nursing credit is available for $10. Register by calling the Olson Women\u2019s Health Resource Center at 402-559-6345, email the <a href=\"mailto:OlsonWHRC@unmc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Olson center<\/a> or access through <a href=\"https:\/\/unmc.campuslabs.com\/engage\/event\/8518975\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Engage<\/a>. The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by University of Nebraska Medical Center and Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health. University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing&nbsp;Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the health care team. The University of Nebraska Medical Center designates this activity for 1.0 ANCC contact hour. Nurses should only claim credit for the actual time spent participating in the activity.
