{"id":93890,"date":"2022-11-29T15:58:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-29T21:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/?p=93890"},"modified":"2022-11-29T15:18:40","modified_gmt":"2022-11-29T21:18:40","slug":"employee-giving-campaign-todays-the-final-day-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2022\/11\/29\/employee-giving-campaign-todays-the-final-day-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Employee giving campaign: Today&#8217;s the final day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\">\n<p>Today is the final day of the 2022 Employee Giving campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a reminder, employees have the opportunity to participate via two pathways: the United Way of the Midlands campaign and Give Nebraska (formerly the Community Service Fund of Nebraska).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We know times are tough, and that&#8217;s why it&#8217;s not the size of one&#8217;s donation that matters, but moreso that we join together in participating and let our community know we are all standing behind them,\u201d said Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, chancellor of UNMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNMC employees who pledge&nbsp;a minimum of $10 total will be eligible for the prizes listed below. Log in to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/net.unmc.edu\/eserv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eServ<\/a>&nbsp;and make a pledge before 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 30) to be included in the drawing. Winners will be notified via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prizes this week include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One $25 Visa gift card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One $50 Visa gift card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UNMC swag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The running totals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, UNMC achieved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Donations of $91,193.48<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee participation of 10%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To participate, see these instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>United Way of the Midlands:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/net.unmc.edu\/eserv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link<\/a>. Employees who are unable to contribute are encouraged to access the ePledge website and submit a \u201cno donation\u201d response. A \u201cno donation\u201d response counts toward total employee participation.
