This webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health and UNMC College of Nursing webinar series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Harris will discuss the placental structure and function in humans. She will explain how a poorly functioning placenta can cause pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia, fetal growth restriction and stillbirth. She also will analyze the risks involved in using medicines during pregnancy while exploring approaches to help reduce these risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a free event and open to the community. Nursing credit is available at no cost. Register through <a href=\"https:\/\/unmc.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_J_S-56g1SLmsQYjI_z5g6w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zoom<\/a>.
