New investigators also had to demonstrate scholarly activity such as publishing their research and\/or presenting their findings at national conventions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul three words or less:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biostatistics, epigenetics, clinical trials<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is research important in the world today?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through scientific research, we gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of a problem and help develop tools or technology to improve our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>My research will make a difference because:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of my current research interests is to investigate the long-term effect of epigenetic changes during pregnancy on later life diseases in women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The best advice I\u2019ve ever received is:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will never know what you would get
