How long is your training program and how long have you been at UNMC?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pediatrics residency is three years, and I\u2019m currently in my second year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like the most about your training program?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Definitely my co-residents! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What challenges do you foresee in graduate medical education in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making medical education as individualized as possible to utilize students\u2019 strengths. There are students and residents with diverse backgrounds and experiences. A person with an engineering background may have a different approach to a problem than from someone who studied the arts. Both offer great insight and, in medicine, creates a space for creative problem solving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
