UNMC\u2019s brand is what sets it apart from other colleges and universities. And now, for the first time in its history, the campus community has an official mascot and logo \u2013 the UNMC Labs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The logo design features Ellie, a compassionate, loyal and hard-working Labrador retriever symbolic of the health care professions. UNMC’s Ellie is based on a 16-year-old black Labrador named Ellie that has frequented campus events over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNMC\u2019s Brand Wise website, available at this link<\/a>, offers guidance for what the UNMC community needs to know about using the mascot logo in print, on the web and on merchandise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refer to the Brand Wise site for guidelines on color usage, text lockups, clear space and sizing rules, along with cautions about deviations from brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
