Gold, MD. \u201cUNMC is dedicated to the collegial expression of ideas and remains an institution dedicated to attracting and developing world class faculty, students and staff.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to requests regarding confidential support services, our campus leaders encourage all faculty, staff, residents and students to use the free, confidential support services offered year-round by UNMC and Nebraska Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These support services include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/student-success\/support-services\/counseling\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UNMC Counseling and Psychological Services<\/a>&nbsp;(students\/residents)<br>Call 402-559-7276 year-round to make an appointment&nbsp;(in-person or via Zoom) or with questions. After hours, if someone has&nbsp;a concern and needs help immediately, call the main line at 402-559-7276 and press \u201c2\u201d \u2014&nbsp;CAPS has a contract for outside licensed counselors to take the call.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/wellness\/mental-health-resources\/faculty-staff-resources.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Employee Assistance Program<\/a>&nbsp;(faculty\/staff)<br>Appointments can be made by calling a live-answered local or toll-free number or by visiting the Arbor Family Counseling website. Day, evening and weekend sessions are available, as well as off-site, on-site and web-conferencing options. noopener\">Peers in Need of Support<\/a>&nbsp;(faculty\/staff)<br>Nebraska Medicine\u2019s confidential PiNS (Peers in Need of Support) program matches individuals with a behavioral health responder, made up of Nebraska Medicine and UNMC psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, staff chaplains and other trained staff.&nbsp;Reach PiNS by&nbsp;<a
