Biography


Dr. Waterfield is an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. She received her bachelor of science and master of education from Louisiana Tech University and her bachelor of science in nursing and PhD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has spent the last 10 years in nursing working as a nursing assistant, an intensive care nurse, a nurse specialist, and an advance practice registered nurse in neurology. Her research trajectory includes ethical sensitivity and symptom management.
