Ms. Weisgerber is a College of Nursing clinical instructor for the West Nebraska Division in Scottsbluff, NE. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing in December, 2011. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing LEAD program with her Masters Degree in May, 2015. Her background is in Long-term Care and Community Health Nursing. She continues to work part-time as a Community Health Nurse for Regional West Medical Center and the Scottsbluff County Health Department, specializing in immunizations, epidemiology, and worksite wellness; she also serves as the Genetic Clinic Coordinator.

Active member of the Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN) and Panhandle Immunization Coalition (PIC).

Adopt-a-School- activities with selected primary school each year.

Children’s Health Fair - “Body Walk” for 600 3rd graders every March.

Flu Shots- each fall.

Nebraska AIDS Project- AIDS Walk- Each fall.

Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN) - board member 2002-2005.

Safe Kids Day- General Safety fair for community 1 time per year.

Sexually Transmitted Infection Presentations - West Nebraska Community College - each semester as well as other locations.

YMCA- After School Adventure Camp- “Hands on Health” program - as requested.


Outstanding Performance Stipend- 2004-2005- Adopt-a-School Activity.
