Biography

Heather Kaestner received her BSN from the accelerated program at Creighton University in December 2009, after graduating with a BSA in Psychology in May 2008 from Creighton University. She received her MSN as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner from Creighton University in May of 2016 and a Post-Master's Certificate in Women's Health from UNMC in May of 2019. She has worked in multiple settings as a RN including ICU, Pediatric Home Health, and Hospice. She has worked as a FNP in the clinic, Hospice and Quick Care settings. Currently she is employed as an Instructor at the UNMC College of Nursing-Kearney Division and is working at Heartland Health Center utilizing her FNP and WHNP.
