Biography
Dr. Jessica (JJ) Miller is an assistant professor at the College of Nursing – Lincoln Division. Dr. Miller received her bachelors degree in nursing from UNMC – College of Nursing Northern Division in Norfolk, Nebraska. She graduated with her PhD in Nursing from UNMC CON in August 2021. She is working toward her Post Masters in adult gero primary care nurse practitioner to be awarded December 2021. Dr. Miller worked clinically at the Norfolk Veterans Home as a floor nurse and as a house supervisor. She also taught Certified Nurse Assistant, first aide and CPR courses as an adjunct faculty at Northeast Community College in Norfolk. She is building a program of research around self-management, multimorbidity, and rural adults.
