Biography
Tammy Schroeder, MSN, APRN-FNP is an Instructor at the College of Nursing. She received her BSN at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE in 1994 and she earned her MSN from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2002. Ms. Schroeder has worked most of her nursing career on a cardiac progressive care unit. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has worked Rural practice for the past 19 years, with a diverse range of experience including Emergency and Hospital Medicine as well as Ambulatory Care in Family Practice. She was awarded the Nebraska Hospital Association Caring Kind Award in 2010 and was a 2021 Lincoln Journal Star Celebrate Nurses Honoree.
