Biography
Ms. Wells is a clinical instructor in the College of Nursing , on the Scottsbluff Campus. She received a bachelors degree with majors in Human Nutrition and Biological Science and a minor in Anatomy and Neurobiology from Colorado State University in 1993. She completed her BSN from UNMC - CON - Scottsbluff in 1996. Her Community Health Nursing Masters was completed in 2001, also from UNMC - CON. Her clinical background includes beginning the Scottsbluff office of the Nebraska AIDS Project and working as a Community Health Nurse with Nebraska Health & Human Services in the Immunization, Reproductive Health, Sexually Transmitted Infections and WIC (Women, Infant and Children) Nutrition programs. She joined UNMC as full-time faculty in the fall of 2003. She is married and has 2 small boys. She enjoys reading, crafts and organizing.
