Notification of BSN, MSN, and DNP Reaccreditation Visit and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate Initial Accreditation
On April 16-18, 2018, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing will have an on-site evaluation by a team from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) as part of our continuing accreditation process. The College is seeking CCNE reaccreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs and initial accreditation of the Post-Graduate APRN Certificate.
Program constituents including students, alumni, representatives from clinical agencies, and the public are invited to submit comments concerning University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing programs’ qualifications for accreditation status. CCNE will share comments with the site visitors prior to the visit however, these comments will not be shared with the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments, if any, that relate to the accreditation standards.
Your written and signed comments will be accepted by CCNE until 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation. These comments must be received at CCNE by March 26, 2018.
