UNMC’s Rural Training Track (RTT) is a program developed by the Department of Family Medicine that prepares residents to practice in rural areas. Established in 1991, the program is now the largest in the nation.
Dental Hygiene’s Sealant Program offers oral health education, sealants, fluoride varnish, exams free of charge to children in second, third, and sixth grades. School selection is based on student eligibility in the free/reduced lunch program.
