RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research focuses on developmental pharmacology and toxicology, with an emphasis on pregnancy-related mechanisms involving the placenta and early brain development.

  • investigate how the placenta regulates fetal and neonatal brain development.
  • study how maternal exposures, including therapeutic drugs, environmental factors, and infections, influence placental function and neurodevelopment.
  • 2026 & 2025  Biology of Reproduction Top Reviewer Award by Society for the Study of Reproduction
  • 2024 Poster and Oral talk Abstract Reviewer, 57th Annual Meeting of Society for the Study of Reproduction, Dublin, Ireland
