Research Goals

To understand the intra- and inter-organ communications during the progression of cardiovascular diseases and neurodegenerative disorders including HAND, and to explore the underlying mechanisms by which damaged cells or organs communicate with other cell types or remote organs during the disease process to further identify the therapeutic targets.
