What is a Professional Fraternity?
The professional fraternity is unique in that it provides the opportunity for attainment of greater professional competency and achievement within one’s chosen field. Members of a professional fraternity will usually find a closer relationship with faculty members, alumni members and with practitioners of the profession. The social functions and contacts, and the opportunity to develop those qualities of leadership, are readily available in Kappa Psi.
How do I join?
Every fall semester we have informational meetings and an opportunity to sign up and join our great organization. One will be considered a pledge for the first eight weeks and become an active member at Initiation. Our meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of the month for active members, and pledge meetings are held during the pledging process. This is an ideal way to get to know the Brothers in Kappa Psi and learn about the fraternity’s history.
