Ross McIntyre, the Chairman of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology (1935-1967).  This award is to be given to an individual for “an original and innovative contribution in a scientific field related to medicine or medical education.”

In 2014, the A. Ross McIntyre Award was converted into the A. Ross McIntyre Cardio-Renal Seminar Series. Nominations are solicited from faculty members. Three McIntyre Medal logospeakers/year will be selected by an interdepartmental committee.  Contact Paras Mishra, PhD for more information.
