We are pleased to announce the Spring 2022 application window for the travel fellowships (two fellowship of $500 each) presented by the Office of Postdoctoral Education. These fellowships are to allow postdocs, who are the presenting authors in posters or talks, to travel to professional conferences when a downturn in their mentor’s funding leaves them unable to pay for the trip.

To apply for this fellowship, please provide the following:

  1. A 1-page narrative with accepted abstract and the name, location, date of the conference.
  2. A current copy of your CV.
  3. A letter from your mentor clearly explaining the loss in the funding and why it has left your lab unable to pay for this travel.

Please email your completed application materials to Dr. Charles Klinetobe at cklinetobe@unmc.edu no later than 4 April 2022.
