James D. Goedert, Ph.D., P.E., F.NSPE

James D. Goedert, Ph.D., P.E., F.NSPE is a professor in the Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction in the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in the Interdisciplinary Field of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His research interests include sustainable residential design, modeling and simulation, and sustainable design in developing countries. He has several years of construction industrial experience in addition to 25 years at the university. He has more than 40 journal and conference papers leading construction journals and conferences and international publications.  He was the Chairman of Construction Engineering and Management department for eight years and then Director of Research and Industry Outreach prior to returning to the faculty to pursue his current interest in sustainable international construction and development.
