Accepting Submissions to the Health Administration Research and Best Practices Symposium

The Health Administration Research and Best Practices Symposium is designed to generate and exchange relevant, valuable, and applied research initiatives and operational best practices around health administration services, hospital operations, and management from Nebraska academic institutions.  The symposium will be a place for convention attendees and NHA members to begin conversations about the collaborative processes that research generates and to have a meaningful exchange of best practices, research, and innovation. Next year we will be accepting submissions from hospitals and academic institutions.

The Health Administration Research and Best Practices Symposium is a catalyst to:

  • Generate current work that can be shared and used by the hospitals and organizations associated with the Nebraska Hospital Association.
  • Encourage active contribution to health administration research, operational management, and innovation in Nebraska that leads to improved health system processes and management
  • Provide experts, researchers, and students the opportunity to showcase their work and to demonstrate potential impact for change and innovation that leads others to adopt practices.

A core goal of this symposium is to bring together experts in healthcare, management, quality, supply chain, analytics, and operational management to focus attention on the health sector.

Please reach out with any questions and direct any interested students or faculty to Stephen Peters at stephen.peters@unmc.edu or Sachi Verma at sverma@nebraskahospitals.org.
