Durham Outpatient CenterThe University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha is an academic health science center that includes colleges of medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, and public health; allied health programs, a graduate studies and research program, a university hospital, a rehabilitation institute, a cancer research institute, and a medical staff group practice. UNMC also has a completely renovated medical library and media facilities.

Nebraska Medicine is comprised of Clarkson Hospital and University Hospital. A total of 250,000 radiology examinations are performed yearly. Nebraska Medicine is a tertiary care facility licensed for 735 beds. This facility, in cooperation with Creighton University Medical Center, provides Omaha and its surrounding communities with the only level one trauma coverage in the region. The hospital supports a range of medical specialties and subspecialties, and is known internationally, nationally and regionally for its efforts in solid organ and bone marrow transplantation. Other areas of excellence include cardiology, oncology, neuroscience, high risk obstetrics, neonatology, genetics and geriatrics.

Veterans' Administration Medical Center

Veterans' Administration Medical Center provides a broad range of acute medical, surgical and psychiatric care. It is licensed for 226 beds.

Children's Hospital & Medical Center

Children's Hospital & Medical Center is a private pediatric hospital licensed for 100 beds. As a regional referral center, it treats children with a variety of secondary and tertiary pediatric conditions. Children's' medical staff consists of general pediatricians and family physicians in private practice, as well as pediatricians and subspecialists from UNMC.
