Diffusion Tensor Imaging

Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI). Microstructural alterations in brain tissue appear early as diffusion tensor abnormalities. Acquired in collaboration with Dr. R.L. Mosley.

Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI).

Tractography via DTI. The corpus callosum has tracks primarily running from one hemisphere to the other and is therefore, depicted in red. Other color combinations can be determined from the sphere inset (lower left) which shows representative colors for each diffusion direction.
