Step 00:03:31:05 - 00:03:35:04 two is to submit sufficient documentation from their treating provider. 00:03:36:00 - 00:03:40:04 Step three: Complete an intake meeting with an ASC staff member 00:03:40:17 - 00:03:43:17 and then develop an accommodation plan if necessary. 00:03:44:06 - 00:03:48:17 Step four: Once approved, is discuss implementation of accommodations 00:03:48:17 - 00:03:52:16 with necessary faculty members each semester 00:03:52:22 - 00:03:55:22 accommodations are wanting to be used by those students. 00:03:56:12 - 00:03:59:08 So there are two kinds of accommodation plans. 00:03:59:08 - 00:04:03:15 These are classroom or didactic and clinical based. 00:04:03:15 - 00:04:07:15 Classroom applies to classroom-based or online needs related to classroom 00:04:07:15 - 00:04:11:12 environments, such as testing, lectures and lab settings. 00:04:12:03 - 00:04:14:21 Clinical base applies uniquely to the specific 00:04:14:21 - 00:04:17:21 clinical setting the student is assigned to. 00:04:17:23 - 00:04:21:09 We understand that each clinical setting varies for every student. 00:04:21:19 - 00:04:25:20 Therefore, it is critical to get accommodations established early. 00:04:26:10 - 00:04:30:04 If you have questions or would like any more information, please contact us. 00:04:30:04 - 00:04:31:15 We are physically located 00:04:31:15 - 00:04:35:22 on the Omaha campus in the Student Life Center in suite 2031. 00:04:36:06 - 00:04:40:01 However, we work with all five campuses and our online students. 00:04:40:11 - 00:04:45:22 You can email us at unmcasc@unmc.edu. 00:04:45:24 - 00:04:49:07 And that email is monitored by all of our ASC staff. 00:04:49:15 - 00:04:57:10 Or you can give us a call at 402-559-7276 or check out our website. 00:04:58:21 - 00:04:59:09 Thank you.
