Fund B Information

What is Fund B?

Fund B, mandated by the Chancellor and approved by the Board of Regents, supports Student Health operations. Fund B is a fee all students pay and not a medical insurance. Portions of this fund cover services rendered at the UNMC Omaha campus Student Health Clinic.

All UNMC students are automatically enrolled in Student Health Fund B during registration.

Students not enrolled in classes during the summer session (June 1 until the first day of classes in the fall), may pay a fee to the Finance Office/Cashier prior to June 1 to utilize the services of the Student Health Clinic.

Fund B will cover co-pays for eligible students at current Immediate Care Clinics. Questions regarding Student Health Fund B may be directed to studenthealth@unmc.edu or by calling 402-559-5158.
