Dani Haas, PLMHP, PCMSW

Dani is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner and a provisional master social worker in the state of Nebraska with over ten years of experience in mental health settings. Dani received her undergraduate and graduate Social Work degrees from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Prior to UNMC, Dani worked in the community within inpatient mental health settings, intensive outpatient, group/individual therapy, and crisis intervention services. Dani has worked with a variety of populations to include students, seniors, those experiencing homelessness, veterans, and board of mental health patients.
Dani has been trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and Self-Management Recovery Training. Dani uses strengths-based approaches to optimize client interventions and promote accomplishment of the client’s overall goals. Dani is passionate about empowering clients to achieve the best version of themselves to ultimately lead a fulfilling life.
In her free time, Dani enjoys being in the sun near the water, carousing local breweries, dancing, volunteering with at-risk youth, and spending time with loved ones.
