Before and after pictures of patient with breast cancer of the right breast who underwent modified radical mastectomy followed by immediate breast reconstruction with a TRAM flap. Three months after the TRAM flap procedure to create the breast mound, a nipple/areolar reconstruction was performed. |
The patient shown above underwent delayed breast reconstruction using a tissue expander that ultimately was replaced with a permanent breast implant. She has good breast mound symmetry and is now ready for nipple/areola reconstruction to complete the breast reconstruction.
|
The patient pictured above underwent TRAM flap reconstruction of the right breast followed by nipple reconstruction and finally nipple-areola tattooing.
