Dr. Reilly is a Professor of Surgery, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and staff physician for Nebraska Medicine's Burn Clinic and the Center for Wound Healing. After obtaining her MD degree at UTMB in Galveston, Dr. Reilly completed her General Surgery residency at the University of Texas in Houston then returned to UTMB for her Plastic Surgery residency. She has also completed a burn fellowship at the US Army Institute of Surgical Research, Brooke Army Burn Unit. Dr. Reilly is responsible for the burn rotation and general reconstruction. Dr. Reilly also is a national expert on wound healing and runs a very busy practice in wound care center. She is board certified in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Reilly is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Burn Association and chairs committees for each of these organizations. She travels extensively for mission trips providing burn and wound care and surgery in many countries overseas. She is also active in numerous other surgical societies and editorial boards.
