Ultimate oversight for College of Medicine curriculum, including Training the Physicians of Tomorrow, lies with the College of Medicine Curriculum Committee which has overall authority regarding planning, development, and implementation. The Curriculum Transition Group, which reports to the Curriculum Committee, designed and operationalized the redesign process on a day-to-day basis. Subsequently, the Curriculum Transition Group developed five oversight committees, each charged with thinking about a different aspect of the overall curriculum. Each calendar block was created by a team of dedicated physicians and scientists who specialize in the block’s material.
